So, I’ve Saved the World Again… Now What?

50,000 people used to live here. Now it’s a ghost town. Things might not be quite that drastic, but there has been a noticeable drop-off in activity across the Destiny 2 community as of late. Fans of Destiny rode out the first game on a high note: three years worth of content at end game levels and outstanding quality of life updates. Needless to say, that wave carried right into and through the launch of Destiny 2. The game saw over 1.2 million concurrent players a few days after the game was released. Things were looking great. So… what happened? Here are my thoughts on that matter:

The Battle for the Internet: Why Net Neutrality is Important

Hello all RM and others! This small piece is to inform you about the upcoming decision to end Net Neutrality. Currently this problem is only in United States of America and is coming from Trump’s FCC chairman Ajit Pai, but if Net Neutrality ends, it could be the leading factor that makes other countries say “Well if America’s done it, it can work”. Now how does Net Neutrality apply to the everyday person?

Success on the Horizon? The Dawning of a New Chapter in ‘The Frozen Wilds’

Earlier this year Guerilla Games released Horizon Zero Dawn to critical acclaim and commercial success, a brand new IP that brings it’s own unique twist to a post apocalyptic world. The game was exceptionally well received by fans and critics alike, even though it came at pretty much the same time as Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Measuring Moira’s Might in the Meta

Hero 26, aka Moira, has finally left the PTR (Public Test Realm) and hit the live game. She’s a support hero with some interesting interactions, but how does she affect the current meta?

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Look Ultra Good

A formula for twenty-one years, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the enhanced versions of 2016’s Pokémon Sun and Moon in the vein of games like Pokémon Crystal and Platinum. The enhanced versions have always been versions with better content and more to do, but never truly felt like a necessary purchase for anyone outside of the most hardcore fans or the holdouts for the first entries into the new generation. But with all that being said, Pokémon USUM look to be the first enhanced versions that are must own for anyone and everyone.

Team Overview: Boston Uprising

Boston Uprising, owned by the Kraft group who are more commonly associated with the New England Patriots (handegg), have donned the Blue, Black and Yellow for the upcoming Overwatch League. They are one of the six teams in the Atlantic division; alongside Florida, Houston, London, New York and Philadelphia. Noticeably, their team is built from multiple other teams, from CONBOX to Singularity all the way to 123.

About EA and Star Wars Battlefront II…

So I’m sure you’ve all heard why EA are the cancer of gaming, and I’m here to do that again. If you would like to argue in EA’s favour, I love an argument, so if you PM me on Discord I’ll be sure to get back to you ASAP.

The Overwatch League, a Primer

Have you ever been within earshot whilst I ramble on about the upcoming Overwatch League and simply wished I would just shut up? Well, Let me outline exactly what the Overwatch League is and why I’m so excited, so you can be just as excited too! (Or at least pretend to be. Humour me why don’t you?!)

Is Ubisoft in De Nile? Taylor Reviews Assassin’s Creed Origins

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and the newest addition to its ranks is certainly a far cry from the game that started it all ten long years ago. Gone are the pointless in world collectibles and closed off segmented cities with endless loading screens. Instead we have a rich, living and breathing open world that is diverse and is filled with interesting locations for the player to discover. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, there are a few crocodiles hiding in the shallow waters.

Jammy’s Overwatch World Cup Breakdown

In the first of what we hope will be many reports into the competitive Overwatch scene, our very own barking mad bibliophile, Jammy, cast’s his furtive eyes over the events at Blizzcon this past weekend. Blizzcon was a whirlwind of surprises for Overwatch. New skins, a new map and a new hero. One thing that was a little less surprising, (spoilers, duh!) was a South Korean victory. It wasn’t all plain sailing though. Here’s my take on the weekend.
